Who we are

Drivo is run by DRIVO LTD, a company registered in Rwanda (company code 157214907), KN 20 Avenue, Munini, Kamuhoza, Kimisagara, Nyarugenge, Kigali, Rwanda. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: info@drivo.co.rw.

What we collect

Account data: your name, email, password (stored only as a secure hash), date of birth (to confirm you are 18 or older), chosen role and preferred language.

Learning data: lessons you finish, test answers, scores and streaks.

Payment records: plan, amount, date and status of a payment, and the transaction reference from the payment provider. We do not see or store your card number or Mobile Money PIN.

Messages you send us through the contact form, and basic technical data (browser type, errors) needed to keep the service secure.

Why we use it

To run your account, show your progress, confirm payments and give you access to what you bought.

To keep Drivo secure and to prevent fraud and abuse.

To send service messages such as sign-in and payment confirmations. We do not sell your data.

Who can see it

You. If you join a teacher's class, that teacher sees your name and your results for that class only, never your birthday or contact details.

Drivo staff who need it to run the service.

Service providers that process data for us, such as our hosting and database provider and our payment provider (DPO Pay), only for the purpose of providing Drivo.

Where data is stored

Our database is hosted outside Rwanda. We transfer personal data abroad only as allowed by Law n° 058/2021 on the protection of personal data and privacy, including any authorisation required from the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCSA).

How long we keep it

We keep your account data while your account is open. If you delete your account we delete or anonymise your personal data, except records we must keep for tax and accounting, which are kept for the period the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, download or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict some uses. Email info@drivo.co.rw and we will reply within a reasonable time. You may also complain to the NCSA.

Children

Drivo is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.

Changes

If we change this notice in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell signed-in users.
